Standing at 4’6’’, Alison is grounded, strong, quirky and funny. She is currently a part of the Skills Ensemble in ENO’s ‘Aida,’ directed by Improbable’s Phelim McDermott. Before that, she was Metellus Cimber in Julius Caesar-- Rob Hastie's inaugural production as artistic director at Sheffield Theatres. In January 2017, she renewed her collaboration with Jenny Sealey and Graeae Theatre, in a production of House of Bernada Alba, with Kathryn Hunter in the titular role. Alison is British-born and American-trained. She returned to the UK after building a diverse and exciting career in Chicago, working with some of the city’s internationally-celebrated companies including Steppenwolf, Goodman, and Chicago Shakespeare.
