****CALL OUT FOR NEW MEMBERS OF PERFORMANCE ACTORS AGENCY - JULY 2021****

Performance has been a highly successful co-operative actors' agency for 36 years. We’ve built a strong reputation amongst casting directors, directors and producers as one of the best agencies of our kind. Our actors work right across the industry, from the National Theatre and the West End, to community theatre and stand-up.  They work on feature films, in television and radio. They do role-play and voiceovers, they make corporate videos, online dramas and video games.

We are a cooperative agency, which means that we each represent one other - when we’re not working as actors, we work as agents for other co-op members. This usually means a day a week running our office in London (although we are currently working remotely). Right now we are looking for new members who are excited by this form of proactive representation - people who are hardworking and would enjoy promoting others’ careers alongside their own. 

Being in a co-op is very rewarding - it creates a wonderful network of fellow actors and makers, and we are a fun and sociable group. It also gives you as an actor more insight into the jobs you are being submitted for, and the rate of commission is lower than for many conventional agents.  But obviously it requires much more commitment than being represented by a conventional agent, and is not for everyone. The day working in the agency office is not paid, and you are also required to attend fortnightly meetings on a Monday evening, and to watch other members in their performances.

At this moment in time, we are particularly interested in male-identifying applicants. We’re also interested in professional-standard music, dance, sport and language skills, and anything unusual!
