Gerard works in conventional and in experimental performance in the UK and Europe. He is a long-standing associate artist with Stan's Cafe and site-specific company Stacked Wonky Dance. He has performed complex, poetic text for Grace Schwindt at Kaai Theater in Brussels - in a piece written around him - and in the world premiere of a Serbian npiece by Nened Prokic. Hungarian dramatist, Andor Sylagi, also wrote a play for him. He has huge classical experience: Jonson (Mosca), Ford and Shakespeare (Prospero among others.) With Unterwegs Tanz Theater in Heidelberg he made a piece structured around Shakespearean text. His work has ranged from dance to clowning, video, film and installation. He has worked at the National Theatre and with TanzTheaterWuppertal.
Added to that CV, he has a wonderfully self-effacing, gentle energy and is a profoundly intelligent and complex actor.
