Peter Rugman

Peter is a graduate of the Royal Central School of Speech and Drama, where he trained with Simon McBurney, John Wright, Marcello Magni, Catherine Alexander and Sinead Rushe. Since graduating, Peter has been involved in a variety of exciting projects; including understudying two lead roles in The Ferryman at The Gielgud, West End (dir. Sam Mendes.) He is a highly skilled multi-instrumentalist, singer and songwriter and recently released an album, Nineteen Sixty Four, under his moniker The NonStick Pans.

 

Peter has always had a passion for comedy and one of his original comedy characters was chosen to be featured at the UK Craft of Comedy in Llandudno. He is a member of an improv troupe which has come off the back of a successful run at The Edinburgh Fringe festival. He is a keen impressionist and mimic and his impressive voice skills saw him through to be a finalist in the Carlton Hobbs Award.
